What is my Purpose?

Purpose is the key to gratification and preservation. The meaning of purpose is the reason for which something is done or created, or for which something exists. Around the world, so many individuals are seeking their purpose or their reason for existence. Some even question, "Am I living out the purpose God has created for my life?" Over the past 3 to 5 years, I woke up every day asking the same questions you may have asked. "What is my purpose in life?" Since I’ve started my journey to discovering who I am, it constantly leads me back in the book of Genesis. In Genesis 2:15 it says, "Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it." First, let’s review the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve were planted and lived. The word Eden has multiple interpretations, such as a dwelling, a delightful place, spot, presence, an open door, and paradise. Basically, God created Adam and placed him in his presence, his dwelling, a delightful place, and instructed him to work and serve. Adam's assignment was to rule over the Garden, and everything in it, and to plant seeds. He was a gardener. We have the same assignment and purpose as Adam, which is to serve God and to be fruitful and multiply in his presence.

Describing what is purpose is simple, but yet complex. Your ultimate purpose in life is to glorify God because we were created to praise God. Another purpose we have in life is to live out the fruits of the spirit. The fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Every day we should operate out of the fruits of the spirit, planting love in others, peace, patience, goodness, etc. Remember we are gardeners. It's challenging obtaining and living a fruitful life. The bible says in Galatians 5:25, "If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]." Before we can live by the spirit we first must learn how to walk in the Spirit. You can learn how to walk in the Spirit by practicing the use of the fruits of the spirit daily. When you can naturally show love, exemplify patience, show gentleness, and remain faithful no matter what the situation may be then, you can live in the spirit.

Another purpose we have in life is to spread the Gospel. The bible says in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." In order for the Gospel to be heard, we have to spread it. God sent us here so the gospel can be spread throughout the four corners of the earth. Our body was built to house the spirit of God so his messages and works can be exemplified throughout the earth. One of the biggest conundrums we struggle with is our sole purpose. I've learned that whatever you were born to do you were built with it naturally. Whatever God has created you to do is already invested on the inside of you, and once you discover your gift and assignment you also discover your ability. You might see it as a hobby or your passion but, it could also be your purpose. Once you discover your purpose you then study it, develop proper resources, and use it to glorify God.

When Adam was in the Garden of Eden, he met with God daily in the cool of the day. He worked and served according to the purpose God had called him to. One thing I learned, when it comes to being effective in the Kingdom of God is, you can't serve effectively and not be in the presence of God, and you can't be in the presence of God and not serve. Everything in the heavens and earth has a purpose. Whatever your purpose may be, it was given to you to enhance the kingdom of God. 1 Peter 2:9 says, "but you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." You are not here by accident, nor coincidence. You were chosen to be here on earth, right here, right now, at this very moment. Not only are you predestined meaning God knew your ending before your beginning and have a purpose but, we are a royal priesthood sons and daughters of the most high. You are special and unconditionally loved in the eyesight of God. I pray that you find your purpose in life and that God gets the Glory out of your life. Always remember: your ultimate purpose in life is to Glorify God.

I am the image of God part 2!!!!

When God created us he made us 1 being in 3 elements a Trinity made up of  Spirit, Body, and Soul. He patterned our makeup after him because God is 3 being in 1 as well The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit which is a Trinity. We are a reflection of the father in the earth .  1Thessalonians 5:23 May God himself, the God of peace,  sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul  and body be kept blameless  at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Mind   The mind is the spirit man its where we connect with God. It is where we communicate and fellowship with God. We love ourselves, each other, and God in the mind. We have a purpose, meaning, and worship in the mind(spirit). It is also where we have communion and deciphers Good and evil. The mind is where our spiritual heart lives. That's why the enemy attack our mind because he knows that's how we stay connected to God.  Body The body is often referred to in the bible as temple, house, and host. It

Discovering myself after an abusive relationship!!!!!!

So many women today are dealing with some form of abuse. Statistics show that it takes a woman being abused 7 times minimum before walking away from an abusive relationship. Growing up, I’ve seen women in abusive relationships and I thought to myself, "I could never sta y with a man that abuses me." But then it happened. I fell in love and got engaged to who I thought, at the time, was my future husband. Boy, was I wrong! The relationship became abusive mentally, physically, verbally, and emotionally, and for the first time in life, I genuinely feared for my life. The amount of fear I felt was paralyzing me more and more each day. Even though I was free to walk out the door, it felt like a leash was tied around my neck like a caged animal. I can recall multiple nights texting my parents and grandparents and my friends and family, telling them that I love them out fear of never seeing them again. Every day that I woke up was a blessing. I wanted to leave. I planned my e

Romans 8:6-8   King James Version (KJV) 6  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
