Are you struggling with the spirit of heaviness?

A person who is feeling the influence of the spirit of heaviness may feel like the things they used to do with ease now look overwhelming. Like it’s just too hard, Too big, Too discouraging to face. The smallest task can look like a mountain when heaviness is operating. Also a  spirit of heaviness can also be caused by unconfessed sin in our lives. Disobedience to God and His Word puts a wall between us and our Lord and only a heart of repentance will bring restoration.


Demonic spirits operate through personalities and functions some of the functions and personalities of the spirit of heaviness or: feeling tired no matter how much sleep you get, extremely drained, too tired to focus and concentrate, poor health, Excessive Mourning, Sorrow-Grief, Insomnia, Self- Pity, Rejection, Broken-Heart, Despair-Dejection-Hopelessness, Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, and inner hurts! The Bible says in Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.


  Demonic spirits don't want you to recognize them. They want to be anonymous. Even though they have names, they would rather you not know! Some would argue that knowing the name of the enemy that’s fighting you isn’t important but, I respectfully disagree! Often when their name is revealed the authority is broken and their work destroyed. Names are what we use to identify persons. If someone shouts in a crowd, "Hey YOU! Come here!" you wouldn't know which "you" the person was calling. But if someone shouts your name in a crowd, there would be an immediate response. Mark 5:9 gives us a key revelation in dealing with the Enemy(Legion). Jesus commanded the spirit to identify itself by name. Once the Enemy identified himself, Jesus cast him out! The name of Jesus is the name given above every name. His name, therefore, gives us authority over every demon name! It says in Philippians 2:9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 


So how do we combat the spirit of heaviness?! The Bible says to put on the garments of praise! It is in your praise and thankfulness you will find deliverance, your praise and worship free you from worry and captivity, your praise release you from your burdens! The word tells us that our praise moves God! Sometimes you have to speak to what’s hindering you and tell it to be removed from me in the name of Jesus! Ask God to reveal the sin in your life, immerse your heart and mind in the word of God!


I pray you remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in Christ Jesus! God is aware of your struggle. He's waiting for you to ask him for help. Always remember God is near the broken-hearted, and you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you! Be blessed!

Discovering myself after an abusive relationship!!!!!!

So many women today are dealing with some form of abuse. Statistics show that it takes a woman being abused 7 times minimum before walking away from an abusive relationship. Growing up, I’ve seen women in abusive relationships and I thought to myself, "I could never sta y with a man that abuses me." But then it happened.
