My Identity Is In God!!!!

I n Ecclesiastes, Solomon said, "I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Life is not about beginning things, rather, it’s about finishing them. The Bible says time and chance happen to us all, meaning opportunity takes place in our lifespan, but for some, we lack the confidence to run after it. We allow fear and doubt to rob us from great opportunities and purpose. In this period in time, one of the leading attributes the people of God are lacking is true courage. Where does courage come from? A good example of a man of great courage is King David. If it had not been for David’s faith in God, he wouldn’t have had the courage to challenge Goliath. David found courage in recognizing that God is all-powerful (omnipotent); he d...

This song blessed my life it expressed my love for God in a way I didn’t know How. Since  I’ve been saved,  I’ve admired God’s creation. I see God in everything around me and; I marveled at the beauty of his creations. I was breathtaking by the revelation of all creation worshiping God. The song says if all creation worship you “so will I”.  When I look at the storm, the wind, and the rain I see God  in the midst of  it:  in such a way,  I couldn’t explain. It was like God was present. When the wind blew a peace comes over me, and I feel his love and his presence. It feels like an out-of-body experience I yielded to his presence, and such a feeling of worship fell on me and I bowed before his presences. The song says if the “ocean roars your greatness so will I”. “If the wind goes where you send it so will I”.  “If the stars are made  to worship so will I”. Adonai, I surrender my all to you. I cry out to you ...

Purpose is the key to gratification and preservation.  The meaning of purpose is  the reason for which something is done or created, or for which something exists. Around the world, so many individuals are seeking their purpose or their reason for existence. Some even question, "Am I living out the purpose God has created for my life?" Over the past 3 to 5 years, I woke up every day asking the same questions you may have asked. "What is my purpose in life?" Since I’ve started my journey to discovering who I am, it constantly leads me back in the book of Genesis. In Genesis 2:15 it says, " Then the  Lord  God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it." First, let’s review the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve were planted and lived. The word Eden has multiple interpretations, such as a dwelling, a delightful place, spot, presence, an open door, and paradise. Bas...

Mark 10:27   Looking at them, Jesus said,  “With people  [as far as it depends on them]  it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”   Jesus was teaching the disciples that what is impossible with men is possible with God. Every day there is a fight going on with your spirit and your flesh(brain). That is why the bible tells us to deny ourselves daily.  Yo ur brain is designed to keep you alive. The brain is like the autocorrect function on your phone. When faced with a situation, your brain automatically responds with what's been programmed within it. When you go to school, what you are learning is being programmed within your mind. This also includes life lessons, teachings from a parent, social media, readings, and other sources. One example is when you get burned by fire it automatically alerts the brain that the fire is hot. So, from then on out, every time you get around a fire, an alert goes o...

James 1:5-8 Amp version   Consider it nothing but joy, my  [ b ] brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials.  3  Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].  4  And let endurance have its perfect result  and  do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.  5  If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke  or  blame, and it will be given to him.  6  But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.  7  For such a person ought not to think  or  expect that he will receiv...

Romans 8:26-28   Amplified Bible (AMP) Our Victory in Christ 26  In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer  or  how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs  and  groanings too deep for words.  27  And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of  [ a ] God’s people in accordance with God’s will. 28  And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan  and  purpose. Prayer Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this day. I thank you for your grace, your mercy. Thank you for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Thank you,...
